Do Khanh Vy currently works for Embassy Education and maintains regular contact with HPDF. She started working as a Foundation’s collaborator in 2018 with debut contributions to activities such as the OI Run and projects to support people with disabilities & Agent Orange victims in Cu Chi district. She also served as a member of the organizing team in the planning and implementing of the Foundation’s Peace Culture Day 2018. She was part of the team for the ‘Philanthropy in Viet Nam Roundtable 2018’, the opening event of an exhibition titled ‘Waging Peace: US Soldiers and Veterans Who Opposed America’s War in Vietnam’ at the War Remnants Museum, and several events of the Sai Gon Community of Interpreters & Translators Club (SGCI&T) at Salon Cà phê Thứ Bảy (Saturday Café). In May 2022, she coordinated Embassy Education assistance for the launch of HPDF’s Report of the Field Study on Philanthropy Ecosystem in Viet Nam.

Ho Chi Minh City Peace and Development Foundation was established by the decision of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, which is a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations (HUFO). The foundation operates on a voluntary, non-profit basis.
