OI - Tam Viet Scholarship

About the Program
“Orange Initiative” Scholarships (2018 to present) are awarded to PWD/ UXO/ AOS college/ university students to enhance their academic results. OI scholarship recipients are given opportunities to participate in seminars, picnics, English speaking groups… to improve their social integration. “Tam Viet” Scholarships (2019 to present) are awarded to talented university students with specially difficult family backgrounds but annual excellent academic results. “Companion” Scholarships were promptly awarded to children who unfortunately lost their parents during the Covid-19 pandemic year 2021.
Main Activities

Interviews of OI and TAM VIET scholarship candidates
End of semester meetings for OI and TAM VIET scholarship recipients, sponsors, HPDF members and guests
End of schoolyear outdoor excursions
OI and TAM VIET scholarship recipients participate as volunteers in all events held by HPDF (Peace Culture Promotion and OI RUN)
Sharing of good news about OI and Tam Viet Scholarship recipients on HPDF’s fanpage

  • Secretary General of HUFO from 2007 to 2011
  • Ms. Tien holds a Master degree in Development Management (MDM) from the Asian Institute of Management (Philippines)
