She served as Deputy Director of the War Remnants Museum (1998–2008) and later as Director (2009–2017). She is currently Director of the Ao Dai Museum and Vice President of the Vietnam–Japan Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City.

He formerly served as Dean of the Faculty of History and is currently a lecturer at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
