On September 19, 2023 within the project “Vietnam Nation Brand and Viet Identity Survey,” the first focus group discussion was organized with the participation of experts from various fields:
This was an opportunity for the Project team to access diverse opinions and perspectives on the national brand and Vietnamese essence. The exchange session was lively and noted many valuable contributions. The focus group sessions are expected to be organized from September to December 2023
HPDF continues to offer the Orange Initiative scholarship for the current academic year, with a total scholarship value of 150 million VND, as it has in prior years. Ten students who have been affected by Agent Orange, UXO, or PWD families will receive this grant. HPDF will soon provide an update on the award ceremony.
HPDF together with Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology (HUFLIT) is organizing an event on the theme “Be your authentic self” in honor of International Peace Day 2023 (21st September). A culture of peaceful living, a harmonious way of life from within, at peace with oneself, and extending into the community with those around us, is what we hope to encourage. Amy Minh Hanh Corey, a Vietnamese-American singer and inspirational speaker, and other guests had perform at the special event and share their stories on the journey to healing from trauma and towards mental health as they strive to prevent violence and bullying in the community. Amy Minh Hanh Corey is one of HPDF’s Peace Culture Goodwill Ambassadors.
